Learn
To Bowl:
Learn to Bowl is a grass roots
instructional program offered by the Manitoba Five Pin Bowling Federation to
increase awareness of our sport and our many programs. It is also used to
increase membership interest in our organizations. Qualified clinicians present
a video on the basics and rules of 5 pin bowling. The video is followed by
on-lane instruction and games.

The five pin bowling community lost one of
the most truly dedicated supporters of our sport when Judy Newton passed away in
1995.
To perpetuate Judy's spirit, the Manitoba Five Pin Bowling
Federation has established the "Judy Newton Memorial Scholarship".
Our selection committee will award this scholarship on an annual basis to anyone
involved in the sport of five pin bowling. The selection is based on the
following criteria...

Applicants must have participated in the sport of five pin
bowling at any level: volunteer, athlete, coach, during the scholarship
year. |
 |
Recipients may NOT receive this scholarship more than
one time. |
 |
This scholarship must be used within five years of awarding
and may redeemed for any full-time or part-time post secondary university or
vocational training, including continuing education programs at any
recognized educational facility of the applicant's choice. Expenses not
explicitly listed above will be left up to the discretion of the Selection
Committee. |
 |
Applicants must be residents of the province of Manitoba |
 |
All applications must be received in the Manitoba Five Pin
