What is it?The MYBS is designed to train youth bowlers to a very high level of expertise in five pin bowling. It focuses on having the student work with bowling instructors and "Professional" bowlers who have achieved recognition for their bowling skills at the national level. Two instructors and one professional are assigned for every six students, ensuring a high level of individual involvement. This leads to greater concentration and skill reinforcement. How does it work?The majority of time spent with students is on the bowling lanes with the instructors and professionals. It is a very "hands on" type of session. Students will also participate in a series of classroom sessions to explore the mental aspects of the game. Topics include:
Application:The student body is selected through an application registration form that is submitted by the bowler. A maximum of 40 registrations will be accepted. Tom Paterson:Tom has once again been invited to attend this year's school. Organizers, staff, and the students all felt that Tom was indispensable in conducting a successful school.
