Scholarships for Bowlers

The Manitoba Five Pin Bowling Federation is proud to administer several scholarships for young bowlers to help them further their higher education.

Bart Boon Scholarship

The five pin bowling community lost one of the truly great gentlemen of the sport when Bart Boon passed away in 1994.

To perpetuate Bart's spirit, the Unicity Men's Traveling League has established the "Bart Boon Memorial Scholarship." This scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to a senior YBC bowler, subject to criteria.

The deadline for the submission of applications is April 30th each year.

Judy Newton Memorial Scholarship

The five pin bowling community lost one of the most truly dedicated supporters of our sport when Judy Newton passed away in 1995.

To perpetuate Judy's spirit, the Manitoba Five Pin Bowling Federation has established the "Judy Newton Memorial Scholarship." The selection committee will award this $500.00 scholarship on an annual basis to anyone involved in the sport of five pin bowling, subject to criteria.

Help Downloading / Printing

Viewing / Printing Form On-Line, left click on the "View / Print Form On-Line" hyperlink under the desired scholarship. This will open the form in your browser. You can then use the "Print" command in your browser to print a copy of the form.

Downloading The Form Right Click on the hyperlink for the desired format for the form and select "Save target as" entry from the drop down menu. Store the file on your disk (remember the folder location) and then you can open the file locally and print it out.

Print target, please note, you can also select "Print target" from the drop down list to print the file without opening it. You will need to select the correct format for your computer.
