The Manitoba Five Pin Bowling Federation
THE MANITOBA FIVE PIN BOWLING FEDERATION is the umbrella group for the Manitoba 5 Pin
Bowlers' Association, the Master Bowlers Association of Manitoba and Youth Bowling Canada
- Manitoba Division.
Respect In Sport
Sport Manitoba is responsible for the development of amateur sport in Manitoba and believes in being
proactive in ensuring sport in our province is safe and welcoming for all participants. Towards that
end they are involved in the Respect in Sport organization which helps participants promote those
values through a simple and convenient on-line training course for coaches and sport leaders. The
program is designed as a tool to assist coaches in identifying and dealing with abuse, neglect,
harassment and bullying in sport. Respect in Sport enables coaches to deal with legal and moral
responsibilities, making them less vulnerable and more confident in dealing with sensitive issues.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE RESPECT IN SPORT BY DECEMBER 31ST OF THE CURRENT SEASON, YOU WILL
NOT BE ALLOWED TO COACH AT THE PROVINCIAL OR NATIONAL LEVEL.
THE ABOVE POLICY HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MANITOBA FIVE PIN
BOWLING FEDERATION.
Please visit the Respect in Sport website
for more information.
